T\u00e9 una superf\u00edcie de 6,8 Km\u00b2 i una poblaci\u00f3 de 856 habitants el 2018. Per tant, la seua densitat \u00e9s de 126,6 hab\/ Km\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>Algoda compta amb un nucli urb\u00e0 contigu al de la pedania de Matola, tot i que la majoria de la seua poblaci\u00f3 hi resideix de forma dispersa.<\/p>\n<p>En aquesta pedania hi ha moltes palmeres agrupades en horts o disseminades, sobretot en la part sud-oest, confrontant amb el Parc Natural del Fondo.<\/p>\n<p>Algoda \u00e9s una pedania agr\u00edcola on proliferen les empreses de vivers de plantes ornamentals, com en les ve\u00efnes Pu\u00e7ol i el Derramador.<\/p>\n<p>Al maig se celebren les festes patronals de Mar\u00eda Auxiliadora, i a l&#8217;agost les festes en honor de l&#8217;\u00c0ngel de la Guarda compartides amb la pedania de Pu\u00e7ol.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9s informaci\u00f3 sobre la historia i les
