T\u00e9 una superf\u00edcie de 8,6 Km\u00b2 i una poblaci\u00f3 de 1.384 habitants el 2018. Per tant, la seua densitat \u00e9s de 161,1 hab\/ Km\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta pedania compta amb un nucli urb\u00e0 tot i que la major part de la seua poblaci\u00f3 viu de forma dispersa en cases de camp i xalets. T\u00e9 una urbanitzaci\u00f3 anomenada <em>Les Llomes<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;atractiu de la seua proximitat a Elx ha propiciat el trasllat de resid\u00e8ncia de fam\u00edlies de la ciutat a la pedania; en part, aquest ha sigut el motiu pel qual la poblaci\u00f3 s&#8217;ha duplicat des de mitjan anys noranta del passat segle.<\/p>\n<p>Les seues terres s\u00f3n f\u00e8rtils i productives, i es cultiven productes variats de tipus mediterrani.<\/p>\n<p>Part del seu territori el recorre la carretera d&#8217;Elx-Santa Pola.<\/p>\n<p>Les festes patronals de Sant Vicent Ferrer se celebren en
