Un dels temes abordats durant l\u2019entrevista ha sigut l\u2019inter\u00e9s com\u00fa de l\u2019Ajuntament i de la Fundaci\u00f3 a potenciar el Festival Internacional de Cine Independent d\u2019Elx (FICIE) amb motiu dels seu 40 aniversari, que es complir\u00e0 l\u2019any que ve.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">En l\u2019\u00faltima edici\u00f3 del Festival hi hagu\u00e9 un total de 117 curts, 100 en la secci\u00f3 Oficial i 17 en la Mostra\u2019t.
